Learning UNIX – Baby Steps
I have just begun working on UNIX and face the mammoth task of grasping all the commands at a very good pace. So I thought as I embark on this journey I will involve all of you as well. I happily ignored it during my degree studies and consider it to the forbidden screen. Well fate has made it’s humble student and this time I am going to take the bull by its horns.
- ls – lists directory contents
Example :
ls – ltr – List files in the reverse order
ls -d – List only directory contents
