Samsung launches its own iPod !
Samsung has launched Galaxy Wifi 3.6 which is an Android device without a calling facility.
Samsung GALAXY S WiFi 3.6 is a portable media player running Android 2.3. It has the following specifications:
- 3.6-inch HVGA TFT LCD display
- 1GHz TI OMAP series CPU
- 8GB internal memory.
- 2 MP fixed-focus camera with LED flash
- 0.3MP front camera
- Wi-Fi
- GPS
- Additional microSD card support up to 32 GB.

If you think why do you even need such a device, then you need to be reminded about Apple iPod’s phenomenal success. This is Samsung’s iPod to put it simply. Who knows, maybe more lawsuits from Apple are in order! It offers all the multimedia features of a normal Samsung smartphone; only without the phone features!
